Metopia charged into 2026 with a decisive milestone: climbing to #18 on the Base Chain Leaderboard by Base Build. Following our 2025 Year-in-View report, Q1 has been all about putting our vision for a verifiable attention economy into action. By connecting builders, protocols, and active community members, we are building an open onchain network where meaningful interaction translates directly to reputation and rewards.
From partnerships to reputation upgrades and deeper connections with builders, Q1 was full of energy. We launched the Unlock Protocol campaign, kicked off Tempo and Robinhood chain quests, and rolled out Academy enhancements to help users learn, earn, and grow more effectively.

As a core infrastructure for the onchain attention economy, Metopia is connecting real users with protocols and turning meaningful participation into rewards. This achievement highlights our reputation system, advanced attention hub, builder-focused tools, and the vibrant community driving us closer to our vision.
With the support of Unlock Protocol, the leading platform for onchain memberships, we co-launched our largest campaign of the quarter, running from Jan 30 to Mar 31, uniting the community to explore, learn, and earn within the Unlock ecosystem.
We’re thrilled by everyone’s enthusiasm and engagement throughout the campaign:
• 4,000+ users participated in the Unlock Campaign
• 3,800+ users completed Unlock Academy guides
• 329,900 $UP distributed across quests and raffles
• 104,000+ Metopia XP distributed across Unlock Academy and quests
• 16,659 raffle tickets generated in total
This multi-phase campaign guided users through credentials, learning guides, interactive quests, and raffles. Participants discovered how Unlock works, engaged with its DAO, earned Metopia XP & $UP.
We also introduced the Reputation Boost mechanism, giving users with higher Metopia Reputation Scores multipliers on quest rewards. This reinforced meaningful participation and highlighted the value of active community members.
The Unlock Campaign showcased how education, gamification, and verifiable reputation can work together to create a richer, more rewarding community experience.
We launched a new series of onchain onboarding campaigns, bringing our vision for an attention & rewards hub to life — a place where meaningful participation earns real rewards.
These campaigns combine structured educational content with step-by-step guides, helping users learn, explore early-stage projects, and discover opportunities, while earning XP or tokens along the way.

This quarter, the learning experience received a major boost with clearer progress bars, defined difficulty levels, and categorized guides. These UI/UX enhancements, set for full rollout by Q2, will make the learning journey smoother and more engaging for all participants.
New missions are also launched with fresh content for learners.
Gamer Pack: Play to Earn A dedicated gaming vertical for the next generation of players. The first phase features five high-fidelity blockchain experiences: Pudgy World, SuperChamps, Aavegotchi, FIFA Rivals, and World of Dypians. Users can connect, play, and earn rewards while diving into trending blockchain games.
30+ New Guides Dropped Over 30 new Guides were added this quarter across Creator Pack, Trader Pack, and Jesse’s Base 101, covering trading, gaming, and prediction market projects, including Base App, Seamless, Memory Protocol, Hydrex, Morpho, and PredictBase.
Unlock Protocol Exploration As part of our partnership with Unlock Protocol, we launched a dedicated study mission featuring six step-by-step guides. Learners explored how Unlock enables blockchain-based memberships, subscriptions, and event tickets. Over 3,800 learners completed the mission, 100,800+ XP was distributed as rewards, and 101 users minted the Unlock Scholar Badge.
In the coming months, Metopia Academy will undergo significant upgrades, bringing: • More integrated learning content across protocols and ecosystems • Improved, structured learning paths tailored to each user’s journey • Onchain identity and credential systems to capture achievements • Better rewards to recognize attention, participation, and skill growth

2026 New Year Giveaway: Launched a community event for users to share their Metopia 2025 Review report. 1 winner received a OneKey hardware wallet, and 10 winners shared 500 Metopia XP.
Unlock Protocol Daily Raffle: A 42-day $UP raffle ran with a 1,000 $UP daily base pool, where users could purchase tickets to participate. Each day, one winner took the full prize. Total rewards distributed: 50,000+ $UP, actively engaging users in the Unlock ecosystem.
Unlock Protocol Extra Giveaway: Celebrated our partnership by rewarding users who shared their progress in the Unlock Campaign. 50,000 $UP was distributed to 10 winners (5 from Twitter, 5 from Farcaster).
Tempo Testnet Campaign: Launched a campaign with Academy guides and quest tasks for Tempo. Participants interacted onchain and earned rewards from a 500 XP pool.
Robinhood Chain Campaign: Launched a campaign with Academy guides and quest tasks for Robinhood’s L2. Participants explored the testnet, interacted with dapps, and earned rewards from a 500 XP pool.
