From 0:00 to 24:00 on April 27, Jiangsu added 2 local confirmed cases (1 case in Yancheng City and 1 case in Suqian City, all of which were treated in isolation in designated hospitals), and 72 local asymptomatic infections (4 cases in Wuxi City, 38 cases in Xuzhou City, 5 cases in Changzhou City, 14 cases in Suzhou City, 1 case in Yancheng City, 8 cases in Yangzhou City and 2 cases in Suqian City, all of which were treated in isolation in designated hospitals). A new case of asymptomatic infection was imported from abroad. There were 4 new discharge cases (all local), and 99 asymptomatic infections (95 local and 4 imported from abroad) were observed after release of isolation.

Details of newly confirmed cases and asymptomatic infections will be released by relevant districts and cities.

At present, there are 70 confirmed cases of isolation treatment in designated hospitals (69 cases locally and 1 case imported from abroad), and 1177 asymptomatic infections observed by isolation medicine (1176 cases locally and 1 case imported from abroad).
