Today, we are excited to announce Activity Points Season 2, users will be rewarded a share of 5 million points (around 10% of daily point distribution) every day based on their transaction volumes across key pools (full list here) on Kim, Supswap, SwapMode, IzumiSwap, and Velodrome.

Our goal is to incentivize genuine transaction volume on the Mode chain. By filtering out volumes from smart contracts, including multisig wallets, we ensure that the rewards go to individual users who actively participate and contribute to the ecosystem. This approach helps maintain the integrity of our reward system and fosters a more vibrant and active community.

Users can earn points by swapping tokens in specific pools on participating dapps. The process is straightforward:

1. Participation: Users engage in token swaps within designated pools on the supported dapps.

2. Volume Calculation: The total volume from these pools is aggregated daily.

3. Point Distribution: We calculate each user’s share of the total daily volume and distribute points accordingly. For example, a volume of 10 ETH will not equate to a fixed amount of points but will contribute to the user’s share of the total daily volume.

The starting block for points will be at: Block 9227209 (calculation will start at approx 5pm CET today).

Daily calculations will be confirmed at 11am UTC and users will be able to view their updated Activity Points on their dashboard at approximately 11.05am UTC.
