I still think the first part of Resident Evil (2002) is one of the best zombie movies and one of the best movie adaptations of games ever, basically.

I remember how much I fucked up as a kid when Alice goes out into the city at the end of the movie and realizes that the virus has leaked out. It's a shame that after some part out there, the franchise has turned to bullshit.
