Holdim is a user-friendly interface that summarises long texts of governance proposals into short, concise tl;drs.
Its special AI model gets the proposals currently in the voting stage on Snapshot, transforms them into small texts, and shares them in the mobile app.
It was born from the need to make DAO governance easier to understand and is constantly evolving with new features and an API for other applications.

So let's dive a little bit deeper to understand what Holdim is all about.
Holdim, as you can see it now, is a user-friendly interface that summarises long texts of governance proposals into short, concise tl;drs that can easily be read and understood.
Our special AI model gets the proposals that are currently in the voting stage on Snapshot (we are also going to support on-chain proposals soon) and transforms them into small texts. We oversee the results to eliminate proposals with no text or other proposals that cannot be summarised properly.
Then all the tl;drs appear in the feed of our mobile app and you can follow the DAOs you like - all their proposals will appear in the feed.
It all started when I was working in Opium and researching DAOs and their structures. It was overwhelming - long proposals and the amount of information needed to understand how everything works.
The pain of governance forums, separate logins, different discords, unread messages, and replies was just too much. How was it possible to comprehend everything that was going on in the communities we liked and were a part of?
This was my motivation to create Holdim and I started thinking, researching, and working on the idea for about a month. Then, at the EthAmsterdam hackathon, we got to develop a prototype of Holdim, and ended up winning three prizes! We received a lot of positive feedback and continued developing the project after the hackathon.
Our mission is to create a better UX by aggregating data from the distributed web 3.0 environment, processing it, and distilling it into meaningful and actionable insights that can be easily understood and applied.
So it can improve coordination between different DAOs, groups, people, and sources of information, to make it easier to onboard new people and provide additional motivation and benefits for those who are already involved.
We understand that making the app better and easier will be a long road of improvements and mistakes. New features will be based on your feedback and our research and testing.
We are also making our API available for other applications, and Boardroom is now integrated with us and if you open your feed there, you can read summaries of the proposals of DAOs that we support (we are going to add more don’t worry!).
We would also like to focus more on our AI model and make it more advanced to help you.
How would you like to receive a custom-made weekly digest of governance of DAOs you are interested in?
Or how would you like to have a pokemon style badge that aggregates your activity on-chain and showcases your skills, solid sides, and more?
Or would you like to see in what DAOs your skills would be useful and what DAOs can be interesting for you without a search?
In general, since our AI will become a big Web 3.0 knowledge base and expert, we expect that we will be able to extend its application in broader fields besides DAOs and governance.
Until now, Holdim has been funded by prizes from hackathons and grants. We received 3 prizes (10500 USD) on the EthAmsterdam hackathon from 1inch, Zerion, and Gelato. We also got a grant from Uniswap Foundation of 15000 USD.
It has paid for the development of the app and allowed us to make tl;drs and share them in the app for free. We are thinking of future funding right now and it is highly possible we will need to raise a funding round.
