Michael Jackson is one of the most tragic tales of a musical genius being failed by the world.

Michael Jackson is often referred to as the “King of Pop”, he was an American singer, songwriter and dancer who became one of the most influential artists in the history of music. He was born on August 29, 1958, in Gary Indiana and started his career as a child in the late 1960s alongside his older brothers in a group called the Jackson 5.
He was a vegetarian who mainly ate vegetables and lean meats like chicken or turkey making sure to avoid red meat.
He suffered from vitiligo starting in the early 1980s which made his skin noticeably lighter due to loss of pigmentation, becoming whiter in appearance.
During the filming of a Pepsi commercial in January 1984, Michael Jackson suffered burns to his scalp from a pyrotechnic effect gone wrong. It caused second and third-degree burns all over his head. It caused him severe pain and led to him undergoing plastic surgery.

This surgery marked the beginning of his cosmetic surgeries and how he got addicted to them over the years to follow.
So now the beautiful Michael Jackson that everyone at the time watched grow and bloom into this musical star is now slowly transforming over the years into something he shouldn’t have been.

It created many tabloid rumors like skin bleaching and how he didn’t want to be black. He faced many comedic and derogatory remarks from the people, media and public figures. They ridiculed his appearance, claimed that he was rejecting black culture and made comedy of his situation. These comments hurt Michael Jackson to the core because it was something he truly couldn’t control or at least he thought.
A diet full of vegetables/carbs/sugar has manifested all sorts of problems throughout humanity. If Michael Jackson had simply elected to do a Carnivore Diet he would have never suffered from vitiligo and not had to deal with the stress. I’ve broken down in other articles all the things wrong with sugar so be sure to check out those but to put it simply inflammation starts and ends with sugar/carbs/vegetables. He avoided the one food that contained all essential nutrients, meat and ate an extremely inflammatory diet made up of toxic deficient vegetables and damaging sugar.
Surgery is also another issue in our society that has become normalized when it’s purely unnecessary and harmful. The most important factor in recovering from something is REST, we simply need to let the body do what it has evolved to do. The body produces proteins and new cells to repair damaged tissues like muscles, skin and organs. Collagen production also increases which is critical for wound healing. Species-appropriate eating along with rest is the best tool in the toolbox for enabling your body to heal the best.
Surgery should be the ULTIMATE last resort as cutting open a human body in of itself is very traumatic! It is also so naive for us to think that we can alter the body better than millions of years of evolution.
Michael Jackson underwent several cosmetic procedures throughout the years which are speculated to be rhinoplasty, a chin implant, cheek implants, lip augmentation, eyelid surgery, and a forehead lift. This is only speculation based on his appearance as he kept his medical history private. These surgeries were all unnecessary and damaging to Michael Jackson.

In an interview with Oprah, he stated: “I’m never satisfied with how I look”.
Towards the end of his life, he suffered from chronic pain, insomnia, and substance abuse. These health issues collectively impacted his well-being and ultimately led to his death on June 25, 2009,from an overdose at the young age of 50.
We failed Michael Jackson.
