If you read any of my previous posts in this series, you will have seen that we’ve been to Funchal recently and some of the back streets around Santa Maria are bursting with character, colour and old world charm. I was hunting for shadows and geometry, as this is something that fascinates me. The GR3x really excels with this stuff! I set it to film positive I think it was and the colours are superb. I did crop this image though to include the part that really tells something of a story.
