Over the years I've had god knows how many different blogs and my content can be found across many online locations, to the point I've lost track. It all started on Wordpress, moved to a self-hosted site or two, or three, then Substack, then the Hive blockchain which introduced me to Web 3. I'm keeping all of those plates spinning, they are all of value to me but this is a new plate!
The plate is called paragraph.xyz/@nicklewis which is a hybrid of web 2 and web 3 technologies, as in you don't have to be fully onboard with web 3 to be able to read my content or interact with it but if you are, you'll benefit from an enhanced experience. Well, that is something I am still getting my head around, I am nearly 51 and the web has evolved into something none of us could have predicted 30+ years ago. I am inspired though by the work of those who are driving the new web3 movement forwards.
So what will this publication bee about? A number of subjects, hence I am dividing this up into "communities" (which sounds a little bit Hive-like) for each one, to include synth music, photography and the history of the area in which I live. I may add others in the future.
Let's see where this goes, the UI is lovely.
