Setup and Configuration

1. Connecting and Checking Cables

a) Ethernet Cable Connection

  • Insert the RJ45 connector into the ETH port on your JasMiner device

  • Connect the other end to your router

  • Connect the power adapter to the device's Power port

  • Plug the adapter into a 220V AC power source

2. Finding Your Device IP Address

When powered and connected, the device's green LED will blink indicating normal operation. You can find its IP address using either method:

Method 1: Router Administration

  1. Access your router's admin page through a web browser

  2. Log in with your credentials

  3. Check connected devices list for "JasMiner"

  4. Note the assigned IP address

Method 2: IP Report Software (Windows)

  1. Install and run sl_miner.exe on a Windows PC (must be on same network)

  2. Navigate to "Settings & Query" → "Start Listening"

  3. Press the IP Report button on your JasMiner device

  4. View the displayed IP address in the software

3. Configuring Your Mining Server

a) Accessing the Web Interface

  • Enter the device IP in your browser (Chrome recommended)

  • Use default credentials:

    • Username: root

    • Password: root

b) Miner Configuration

  1. Navigate to the "Miner" configuration section

  2. Enter pool information:

    • Primary pool address and credentials

    • Two backup pool addresses
