The nucleus is oval, round at the top with a small cusp, and the base gradually narrows into a wedge shape. Both sides are slightly flat, and the ventral ribs are slightly blunt. There are obvious longitudinal grooves on the ventral and dorsal ribs, and the surface is covered with honeycombed cavities. The flowering period is winter and spring, and the fruiting period is from May to June (in North China, the fruiting period is extended to July to August).
