I want to talk with you today about the ''What's Next'' project and my long-term vision to help independent artists/journalists fund their documentaries about propaganda/freedom of information.

>What is the ''What's Next?'' project?

It is a 10-part independent documentary series that objectively records the heavy experiences of people living in war zones. The main question of the documentary is why can't we prevent wars despite all the plans and defense expenditures?

>What is the main goal of the ''What's Next?'' project?

To prevent all kinds of propaganda (good or bad) and to leave a true history for future generations by showing the events in war zones to the people in all their reality without taking sides.

We believe that if we show future generations that wars create devastating consequences and irreparable trauma, then the leaders of future generations will not act recklessly in initiating wars.

>Why are you making this documentary as an NFT project?

We aim to prevent these records from being deleted and/or changed in the future, by creating all these works in a decentralized environment.

>What did you do until now about this project?

We decided to go to Ukraine w/ @cemalcihankrl on the very first day of the war. After we solved a couple of problems (visa, funding etc.) we managed to go there at the beginning of the third week of the Invasion. link (Click to the link to read a thread about )

We traveled all the way from Chernivtsi to Kyiv (including the places like Irpin & Bucha where Russians massacred people and killed Journalists). Interviewed teachers, artists, refugees, school directors, soldiers, taxi drivers, students, actors, refugee center directors, and so on. We wanted to listen to any type of person's opinion to understand the situation better.

We stayed in bankers for hours, argued with soldiers, had guns pointed at us, cried & laughed together with refugees, and donated first aid supplies and goods to Mariupol and to other cities located in Eastern Ukraine, traveled 8 hours by plane, 30 hours by train, more than 100 hours by car and spend 2 nights in the Kyiv train station. Stayed in 20 different places, sleepless, tired, and devastated by what we saw. We are still working day and night for the post-production phase.

We did all of this cause we believe that every single human being has the right to know the truth.

I also minted the first 20 photos. The first 3 pieces (#1, #2 & #3) were sold as editions of 5, and the remaining 17 photos were given for free to the collectors who promised to sell their pieces and use the money to do good in their neighborhood. (Click here to see the collection)

We will continue minting the rest of the photos for episode 1 in the upcoming days. We are using the secondary earnings to fund the post-production of the movie, if you want to support us monetarily you can collect the photos or share the story.

How did you fund the first episode?

I funded the first episode with the proceeds of my ''A Fistful of Dollars'' collection and with all the money I made in the last 1 year both from NFTs and IRL work.

>What is your future plan?

In the next couple of weeks, I want to create a web3 Archive(agency) and a totally decentralized platform where we can fund and distribute independent artists/journalists' documentary projects about freedom of information, culture, art, and web3.

>Why am I doing this?

Because I grew up without being able to find an unbiased resource on the subjects I was interested in. I was an ambitious intellectual kid before :) 99 percent of the information I read and learned was always from sources that were imposing a particular culture and belief. I believe that every person has the right to learn the truth as it is and to decide what is right and wrong by himself.

If we can decentralize information sources and manage to write our own history, only then can we have a better future and truly intelligent individuals who are not the slaves of this rotten system.

I'm not rushing for anything. I'm always trying to learn and build step by step. And I believe that there are things that I need to learn from you.
