Bank of Scratcher is part of Impact Fund, our Year 6 iteration of Oversaturation. It’s a VC GP/LP fund we’re forming off our balance sheet, under our HoldCo.

Bank of Scratcher is the portion of the fund we’re allocating for venture debt deals where we invest in people like young talented artists with no opportunities so they can go study under masters, and artists opening DIY studios that actually have room & board for traveling guests.

The other portion of the fund we’re calling our Micro VC Fund that’s allocated to opportunistic MOIC deals with creators that have big opportunities and just need a little coaching.

We are doing an internet style Shark Tank show around Impact Fund to help cover the small management fee and promote our project to help raise a proper new LP.

This is how we save the future of the tattoo industry. We are worried for the next 20 generations of artists. No one is looking out for them. They are disconnected from business education. Especially young marginalized artists are faced with impossible odds. What are they going to do? They need to be able to scale their businesses alongside inflation or they won’t be able to continue their tattoo careers.

By investing in our community, teaching entrepreneurship, and inspiring other creators to follow in our footsteps, we’re able to take someone from a McDonalds job to being a business owner. To learn to pitch investors with their ideas that can change the world.

They’re going to do it so much better than us. The next generation of artists are brilliant and wholesome. They are why we do what we do. We just need to lay the foundation, and they’re going to do things with it that will create meaningful change in ways we never could have imagined. We know it for a fact.

This is our mission. It’s what we’re working towards and we hope to inspire other creators to also be working towards forming micro VC funds to invest in their communities.
