Over the coming weeks, I’ll be working on Act 3 of the story. This is the moment the mask comes off. The moment the forces that oppose the system no longer pretend to tolerate it. As Alias once warned me: "A system like Pegged does not fail. It gets killed." And so the question becomes—how does Steenberg kill it?

One last thing—some of you have written to me about the word “pegged.” Yes, it carries other meanings. And yes, I’m aware.

But let me quote an old motto that still holds truth:

"Honi soit qui mal y pense." Evil to him who evil thinks.

After all, don't we often feel pegged by the system?

Only to realize—we are the system.

And maybe, just maybe, the cruelest part is this: we peg ourselves.
