The central milestone remains unchanged: Finish the first draft of PEGGED by September.
This month has been a balance of structural refinement and conceptual anchoring. While raw scene drafting slowed, I’ve advanced both the narrative architecture (especially Acts 2 & 3) and the Pegged White Paper, which is now a canonical text of this project.
Writing Progress (August)
I have collated the scenes into a more or less definitive narrative sequence. The first version of act 1 is expected to be ready by the end of this week.
Please let me know if you are interested in beta reading, I will send you a pdf file.
Pegged White Paper Highlights
The Pegged White Paper has been a focus in July and August, ensuring Pegged’s monetary and philosophical backbone is not only narrative but structurally rigorous.
This document will appear as an appendix and is circulating as a standalone artifact.
Alias’s Notebook Excerpts
To avoid confusing readers with isolated scenes, I’ve shifted publishing priorities. From now until coherent sequences of chapters are ready, Alias’s Notebook Excerpts will serve as the main serialized output.
They will appear as:
Interstitials inside the novels.
Standalone collection: Alias’s Notebooks: The Ideas Behind Pegged.
Online serialized drops: one excerpt at a time, aligned with narrative arcs or real-world relevance.
Community Building
This month confirmed the echo strategy is more effective than scatter:
@GM_Bulls: Memes remain the most visible content—irreverent, anti-governance humor lands well.
@meta_teri: Cryptic zerotrace posts continue, but threading is needed for clarity.
@CLandtsheer: Underused—requires a conceptual aphorism drop around irrevocability.
Nostr (yakihonne): Ava’s Logs have coherence now; readers recognize them as serialized fragments.
Farcaster (@niftytiles): Posts consistent but need stronger visuals.
LinkedIn: Dormant; time to reintroduce with White Paper insights.
Overall: signal > reach—the community is small but attentive.
Feedback & Invitation
The project is entering its most decisive month. September will bring the convergence of:
Drafting Act 3’s climax
Releasing Alias’s Notebook Excerpts
I would love feedback on two points:
What helps most: scenes, Ava Logs, or Alias Notes?
What confuses: the sequence, the philosophy, or the delivery format?
Email, or comments on Paragraph or replies on Nostr are the best way to respond.
Please forward this report to anyone curious about literature that collides with blockchain, monetary innovation and governance.
