There is a great parable about starfish that I often reflect on when I am faced with an overwhelming problem that seems impossible to fix on my own and when I think about Warpcast Spam Labels, they are a huge problem. Having a "0" label makes you ineligible for Warpcast Rewards and developers are starting to use them to limit access to Farcaster native tools. Spam is a huge issue and not easy to fix. The algorithm will get better over time, but it's far from perfect. You can take action right now to make it better.
The starfish parable tells the story of a young boy walking along a beach where thousands of starfish have washed ashore, and he diligently picks them up one by one, throwing them back into the ocean to save them from dying on the sand. An older man approaches and asks why he's doing this; he can't possibly save all of the starfish. The boy replies, "But I can make a difference to this one."
Today, over 242,780 Farcasters have a Level 0 Spam Label, meaning they are likely to be spammers. We can't check them one by one and see if they are a false positive; there are too many. But there is an action you can take right now and showcase the power of individual actions, no matter how small they may seem. You can save one starfish.
You can use the Dune query below to find out who YOU follow that has a Level 0 Spam Label. You will need to sign up for a FREE Dune account, add your FID to the query and change the Spam Label to 0 and run it. https://dune.com/queries/4633642
Who are you following with a label? Are they honestly being spammy? Check their account and look at their recents casts. Use my guide to help your decide. Please remember this is guidance, not gospel.
It's time to stop being polite and start being real. Farcaster is a super cool open protocol, but Warpcast, the main client 95% of us use to engage with it, is a closed sandbox with a lot of unwritten rules and culture that you have to figure out to do well.
If you 1000% believe some of the people you follow that have a "0" label are incorrect and you are willing to stake your reputation on it, please plead your case to the Warpcast team on the cast linked below. Save a starfish and change someone's entire Warpcast experience.

hmm, that's a strange interpretation. meaning label 0 but its real persona, not a spamer or label 2 but still not worthy to receive rewards etc.

I always check my label everyday and until now it's still lv2. And it says unlikely spammy behavior. Am I visible or still on show more? Please let me know, Honestly it frustrates me every day always guessing whether I'm safe or not huhhhh

Warpcast Spam label updates Check who's label has been changed an when! It has been 3 weeks since the Warpcast Spam labels have been made public and their datasets have been updated twice. I would kill to see some of this data compared with this: https://dune.com/pixelhack/farcaster Like those 80% of casts with no engagement . Are they level 0/1? Is this why everyone’s engagement feels so down? It is because less people are here or just less engagement is “counted”. I was stalking your “am I being farmed” dashboard and it was crazy to see how slow things have gotten. Maybe it’s just me.

Well I'm asking you to take a look at mine and if you believe I'm not spammer help me to get a safe label
If you believe you've been unfairly banned or labeled a "spammer", make your case. I will cast about your case FROM MY ACCOUNT, with your cast attached, so ppl can see your appeal despite the restrictions. Like/recast to support a case that deserves it! You never know when you might need community support yourself.

I am one. I don't know the metrics on which the spam label 🏷️ was used but I am not spammy. It's unfortunate, honestly. Now, all my replies and interactions are hidden making it difficult to be unbanned as no one sees the interactions. I believe this has reduced the interactions on FC.
Do not worry about the restriction. The whole point of this channel is that I here will restate your case from my account so ppl can see it. But first I need you to make the case in your defense. Maybe write a cast about your activities on WC with the links to your bests casts, so ppl who do not know you can see that you are not a spammer? Take a look at @pichi articles too, it may help you.
