It's been a spell since I've pushed out and actual newsletter. Not that I haven't been shipping, I have been posting every day as part of a 60 day writing challenge. It's just that I'm not about to send small snippets of thought to inboxes every single day. You're welcome.
So for today (day 44/60) I will just share some hot links of a few choice (or quite possibly mediocre) posts since the last newsletter was sent out. We are talking cameras, a slightly embarrassing AI rant from a hotel room, The OG, Hacking the ETHGlobal hills, intro to The Pink Sink Diaries, lack of musical talent and other rando things.
We often hear that the best camera is the one you have with you. I disagree with the statement in part. Maybe it should be more like this: The best camera is the one you are intentional and proficient with. Of course you will only be able to take photos if the camera is "with you", I mean c'mon.
Important because soon I will be releasing a new Pink Sink collection that will allow access to gated content, along with the ORIGINS collection, here on the newsletter. Think of it like a membership that never needs to be renewed.
The first day of ETHGlobal Tokyo for me didn't really start until midafternoon, so I decided to go out for a photowalk to grab some shots of Tokyo Tower, as I mentioned in a post a few days ago. I still need to edit the Nikon shots for the tower, so look for those ummm, soonish?
I thought I would put up a video tonight and save myself a few written words and some time. But wouldn't you know, I had an SD card crap out on me. So... really I spent even more time than originally planned. Capital A Awesome.Anyway, with that out of the way, let's talk about (and by that...
AI has become the new table salt. We just sprinkle it on everything, liberally, even if it makes no sense. Even if whatever it is is already salty enough. Not even sprinkle. Just unscrew that cap and take it all. It's the new buzz word that can sell anything.
I decided I wanted to put the integration to the test with audio. Being a voice actor and more than capable of throwing down something new, I naturally decided to mint a song I wrote and recorded well over a decade ago.
Enjoy! Or not... completely up to you.
