Discipline
I have recently been pondering the idea set forth by Jocko Willink that discipline is freedom. Like, a lot. It suggests that by embracing discipline...

Pulling some levers
Hi-de-ho friends. It took a little longer than expected, partially due to getting that old C-19 bug on the plane, but I am back home in Japan and finally getting in the rhythm again. Levers are getting pulled, so it is time for an update.

I wanted to make a quick recommendation today in the form of Sloww.co, a website that offers articles, guides, and resources that touch upon topics like minimalism, mindfulness, purpose, and intentional living.
It is a resource that I visit frequently and is helping me to reevaluate my priorities, declutter both physically and mentally, and hopefully lead a lighter life. There is a ton of overlap with what I hope to accomplish with Pink Sink, though I am clearly the bigger goofball.
One of the key elements that sets Sloww.co apart from similar websites is its emphasis on synthesizing complex ideas from various disciplines. The well-researched posts are easy to digest, with actionable takeaways to help you apply positive changes to your life immediately.
One of the key elements that sets this site apart is its main character... This guy! Picture me pointing at myself and winking. Let's be honest. You are here (or possibly not here) for the personality. But, in all seriousness, Kyle (the author and sole proprietor) has put together a fantastic resource and I highly recommend it. The Sloww Sunday newsletter easily became an inbox staple of mine.
If you're looking to embark on a journey toward a simpler, more meaningful life, Sloww.co is an excellent place to start and a fantastic place to stay.
Just don't forget to come back here from time to time.
