Hello, Mechaholics! We’ve been making exciting progress toward our first drop of EGGs. As we get close to completing the underpinning code and procedures, we want to communicate a few small updates to the purchasing process.

We’ve decided to shift how we distribute any unclaimed mint spots during the sale. Here’s how the mint/sale will now work:

As we outlined a week after our announcement, our hatchlist will be exactly 6,969 people. Every single person on the hatchlist will be guaranteed the option to mint.

When it comes time to mint, we will contact everybody on the hatchlist via email and give them instructions for how to claim their EGG.

Note: Do not fall for scams. We will email you as well as make announcements on our blog, social media and Discord server when it is time to mint.

Everybody who decides to mint will have a set amount of time (to be determined, but it’ll be at least 2 days) to transfer their payment to us. Once we receive payment, that buyer will be given an MFC Mint Confirmation sent to their wallet. This is a proof of purchase.

IMPORTANT: BUYING A MINT CONFIRMATION ON THE SECONDARY MARKET WILL NOT GRANT YOU AN EGG. IF YOU SEE ANYBODY SELLING MFC MINT CONFIRMATIONS OUTSIDE OF OUR OFFICIAL PROCEDURES, DO NOT BUY THEM!

ALSO IMPORTANT: IF YOU TRY TO SELL OR TRADE YOUR MINT CONFIRMATION, YOUR EGG MAY BE VOIDED AND SOLD TO SOMEBODY ELSE. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TRANSFER YOUR MINT CONFIRMATION BETWEEN WALLETS, EVEN IF YOU OWN BOTH WALLETS.

Some people on the hatchlist may decide not to mint, either for financial or personal reasons.

After the purchase window provided to the hatchlist, any unclaimed EGGs will go into a pool.

At a pre-announced day and time, we will randomly select a maximum of 10,000 users to buy these unclaimed EGGs. All users registered on www.mechafightclub.com will have an equal chance of being selected for eligibility in this step.

Once we select these 10,000 people, these people will be able to purchase EGGs on a first-come, first-serve basis at a pre-announced time. If you are added to this list, you will receive and email notification. We will update the entire community about days and times for all stages of this sale via our website, social media and Discord server.

There will not be enough EGGs for everybody on this list.

If you successfully claim and pay for your EGG, you will get the same MFC Mint Confirmation provided to hatchlist buyers.

We don’t like to make changes to our plans because it can cause confusion, and this project is still very young. Because of that, we think it is likely that we cannot reliably predict what our future mints may look like.

We will retain information about signup order, but we may or may not use that information in relation to future mints or opportunities. What is not changing: your best opportunity to get access to minting is to be an active participant in our community.

After all EGGs have been claimed, we will mint all 6969 EGGs and airdrop them into the wallets indicated at the time of purchase. MFC Mint Confirmations are non-transferable.

No. If you have already purchased an EGG during the hatchlist sale, your account is not eligible to participate in the open sale stage. This stage is intended for people who haven’t had any other opportunity to mint.

The reality is that opening up our sale to an unlimited number of people can crash our site. Limiting the sale availability also helps prevent botting and sale abuse.

We don’t think this will happen, but we have contingency plans just in case.

We will have updates closer to the time of sale. We are working on a pricing model that will maximize access to MFC for people of all backgrounds.

We don’t have any updates on this right now. We encourage everybody who is interested in MFC to complete registration at www.mechafightclub.com and remain active in our community to maximize their opportunity to access an EGG or Mechabot.
