Only a few hours to count down!
At 08:00 PT/ 11:00 EST we’re finally minting the first-ever AFAR NFT collection, the RAFA GENESIS heroes. We can’t wait for our awesome community of AFARians to finally get their hands on them!
Our NFT heroes come in 6 different rarities – some are more common and others are incredibly rare. Each RAFA NFT is an individually unique configuration of hero properties: helmet, suit, gloves, belt, and more!
The individual items will be revealed post-mint, so you’ll know which GENESIS hero you own once the mint has been completed.
By now you probably know that the RAFA GENESIS heroes don’t just look amazing, but come with a really unique and special set of perks and benefits in and around the AFAR universe: the AFAR Magic Pass.
The utility of the Magic Pass will really scale as we develop A Far Away Realm, meaning that you’ll learn to love your RAFA GENESIS hero even more, the further our universe grows. So with this blog post, we’re shedding some light on the benefits of holding on to your GENESIS NFT and what you’ll be able to do with it in the (near) future!
Right now, our team is working incredibly hard to bring the Alpha version of the AFAR Mining Game to our community before the end of the year. That initial version will focus on the game’s core loops and mechanics: constructing buildings, mining resources and fending off attacks.
Owning a GENESIS hero and a Magic Pass will give not only give your incredibly close access to the development team behind AFAR, but you’ll unlock a number of awesome customization options in the Mining Game.
As a holder, you’ll get early access to all future versions of AFAR games. That means you’ll be playing the AFAR Mining Game before all of your friends. You’ll also get the chance to join exclusive holder Discord channels that are your direct line of contact to our team. We strongly believe in player-centric game development and value feedback from our community highly. That means with your input, you can directly contribute to shaping A Far Away Realm.
On top of that, holding a RAFA GENESIS hero will offer you a range of unique customization options for your mining operation, such as a custom Mining Camp HQ and awesome hero statues.
