On August 5th, Kevin Rose, the founder of the NFT project Moonbirds, publicly announced that Moonbirds and Oddities_xyz are moving to the CC0 public license. and MoonbirdsDAO will be established to support any user to re-create or derive new ones based on this NFT project.
First of all, let's take a look at CC0.
CC0 enables scientists, educators, artists and other creators and owners of copyright- or database-protected content to waive those interests in their works and thereby place them as completely as possible in the public domain, so that others may freely build upon, enhance and reuse the works for any purposes without restriction under copyright or database law. Moonbirds and Oddities NFT holders no longer individually control the use of their own images, this move aroused the dissatisfaction of some holders.
With Halloween coming around the corner and with the freemint meta running wild; they thought of having some fun to launch a freemint project without any expectation.(via.medium.com/@spookybirdsxyz/) launching Spooky Birds on twitter just 1 month, the team secured an initial VC seed funding amounting to USD700,000.
Spooky Birds is a free mint NFT project and is also the entry into the Spooky Bird Ecosystem. “Trick or treat“ is their phrase.

The based factor will be set to be refreshed every 7 days, with the rate given based on the inflationary numbers.
