"Wild Mountain Ghost" quarrels every day. How can children take online classes?

Guangzhou Haizhu court issued the province’s first pre litigation injunction on noise environmental infringement to ensure the peace of study and life at home during the epidemic prevention and control period

Express News reporter Yang Xiyin correspondent Zhang Yahui, Dong Guangxu and Fu Yuanhong reported yesterday that the express reporter learned from the Guangzhou intermediate people’s court that on the occasion of the world noise day on April 16, the people’s Court of Haizhu District, Guangzhou issued the province’s first pre litigation prohibition order on noise environmental infringement, effectively ensuring the peace of study and life at home during the epidemic prevention and control period.

Since December 2018, Mr. Wang’s family has found that there is a strange roar in Room 302 where they live, with the content of “Wild Mountain Ghost”, which is repeated continuously from 8:45 to 12:00 and from 15:30 to 22:00 every day. After investigation, the sound came from Room 102. Mr. Li had a dispute with other neighbors, so he made such noise. Such noise caused complaints from surrounding residents, and the neighborhood office and Neighborhood Committee presided over the mediation for many times. However, since the noise did not meet the standard of administrative punishment, Mr. Li continued to play after participating in the mediation.

Mr. Wang’s daughter is a primary school student and needs to study online at home. The noise seriously affects the learning effect. In desperation, Mr. Wang submitted an application for a pre litigation injunction to Haizhu Court on April 13, asking Mr. Li to stop making noise.

Haizhu court ruled in accordance with the law on April 14 to support Mr. Wang’s application for an injunction, requiring the respondent Mr. Li not to create noise nuisance by playing “Wild Mountain Ghost” recordings.

On April 15, Mr. Li signed the civil ruling and prohibition order, dismantled the recording and broadcasting equipment, deleted the “Wild Mountain Ghost” recording files, and promised not to make noise to disturb the residents in the presence of the court staff.
