this week has been crazy. btc remained stable, while eth, sol, xrp, and more altcoins have been running like crazy. regulation seems to be more clear in the us with the advancements of the genius act, clarity act, and anti-cbdc surveillance state act. base just launched tba. this week couldn’t get any better. market kinda feels ripe for a new run, or am i just feeling euphoric and this is the top?

anyway, farcaster’s been doing the most again.

they just made app signups cheaper. like, way cheaper. from 3 dollars to 1. and if you’re onchain? just 20 cents. that’s cheaper than a hotdog sandwich.

then they went and doubled dev rewards too. from 5000 to 10000 dollars. and instead of just the top 50 apps, it’s now for the top 100. more room to win. more room to build. we’re in the builder era fr.

and yeah, the mini app homepage got a glow up. it actually looks like a portal now, not a google sheet someone forgot to clean up. makes sense tho, cause there’s been a lot going on.

like degen just dropped a new mini app that lets you tip people just by liking their cast. yup. like to tip. tip to like. it’s kinda reminds me of noice and tipn, but only for degen.

oshadhi and yathindra also built farcaster bingo. literally bingo, but make it onchain. spot the vibes, check the box.

and herocast? now supports farcaster casts. no more yelling into the void. it’s like dm’s but for people who wants to use another client besides farcaster.

but yeah, not everything lasts. farcaster sunsetted the trending token tab. no more sneaky peeks at what’s sufficiently trending. i guess we all have to touch grass now.

they also teased a new way to earn while casting. we don’t know what it is yet, but it’s hinting farcaster casts flywheel. stay tuned.

meanwhile over at base, they dropped tba. like actually dropped it. and no, we’re not telling you what it is. if you know, you know. they also launched a new base day one, now with baseapp and basepay. onboarding smoother than ever.

base builder rewards is also back. new cycle, same grind. 10 weeks. 20 eth. let’s go.

and arbitrum? they’re not sleeping either. they integrated noice, clanker, and a bunch of mini apps. even said they’re doubling down on farcaster. welcome to the infinite content multiverse as dan said.

clanker’s now multichain too. live on arbitrum. more coins. more fun. more chaos.

rarible also came through with mintr. their new mini app for minting nfts. ngl, pretty clean.

over in the chaos corner, compusophy built a mini app that lets you unfollow everyone. literally everyone. clean feed, clean mind.

paragraph’s going full onchain too. now you can choose a ticker for your newsletter, let people trade them, and even donate straight to the writer. it’s like substack but degen edition.

kompreni also launched a /tipn channel for the community. if you’ve been casting heat, maybe you’ll get tipped. or not. but still.
