In 2025, we doubled the size of our product ecosystem, published a book on the future of organizations (The Network Firm), pioneered the first DAO-led startup investment program together with Arbitrum, grew our network of community partners across LATAM and Africa, and evolved our brand and positioning.
This recap highlights the main work and progress from the past year.
In 2025, we completed the transition from RnDAO to RnD Ventures, reflecting our evolution from an early DAO experiment into a full product ecosystem and venture studio.
The rebrand signals our distancing from misguided DAO designs we've often criticized but were getting associated with. We stay true to our values around collaborative innovation, transparency, and building for the long term.
We finally updated our website, and with the new positioning laid the foundation for evolving into a super app. More on this to come next year.

In collaboration with the Arbitrum ecosystem, we hosted the Arbitrum Ecosystem Pitch Day, creating a space for early-stage teams to present their ideas, receive feedback, and connect with 100+ investors.
Brought together 10 curated Arbitrum projects
Delivered 1:1 pitch training with our mentors, turning raw ideas into investor-ready pitches.
Gathered and activated a network of 100+ aligned investors interested in the Arbitrum ecosystem.
$247k invested in the participating projects.
The Pitch Day demonstrated how ecosystem-led programs can improve capital access for early-stage builders.

In 2025, we expanded our Community Partners Network, collaborating with communities and blockchain ecosystems across Latam and Africa. The network enables us to share opportunities, source talent, and invite them to participate in our programs.

The Continuation Program ran for six months and supported post-hackathon teams through structured customer validation and MVP development.
It also marked the first time a DAO-led program invested in startups within its ecosystem.
Duration: 6 months
Phase 1: Customer discovery and validation
Phase 2: MVP development and early go-to-market
Resulting ventures:
FairAI (achieved $10k MRR in under 90 days with us)
Contribo (was making good progress before the founder got hacked, resulting in the loss of both company and personal funds).
Program structure: Investment-based, including SAFE + token warrants

One of the main knowledge outputs of 2025 was the publication of The Networked Firm: Capital Allocation in the Age of Blockchain and AI, developed in collaboration with Allo Capital.

Practical case studies for founders, investors, and builders on what the future of organizations looks like.
The book was released on November 20 during Devconnect in Buenos Aires.

During the year, RnD Ventures contributed to public conversations across the ecosystem through talks and appearances, including ETHDenver, Devconnect, Amagi Life Podcast, AthensDAO, Token Engineering Commons Podcast, Mahmoud Khodor’s Podcast, and KYB Podcast by L2Beat.
These touchpoints helped us share learnings and stay connected with the broader ecosystem.

In 2025, our Swarm grew, and we closed the year with five more ventures in our CollabTech ecosystem, doubling the size of the product portfolio:
Negation Game: Evolution of prediction markets for groups sensemaking, decision-making, and rewarding participants for intellectually honest engagement.
Common Ground: A Web3 communication platform designed for composability: natively integrates apps and surfaces chats in any app.
Fair AI: Accelerate product development and optimize production efficiency for manufacturers by leveraging factory floor data with AI.
Bulla Network: Onchain payroll and invoicing tool. Unlocks working capital for businesses and yields opportunities for investors through invoice factoring.
Apresto: Dynamic pricing and customer segmentation for service SMBs.
Throughout 2025, we formalized our pathways for talent to join the ecosystem. Whether you are looking to learn or ready to lead, our doors are open for 2026:
The Innovator Program: a 6-month part-time fellowship program where participants quickly develop their skills to build startups from 0 to 1 and become familiar with Web3, AI, and the future of work.
The Entrepreneur in Residence Program: a full-time program for up to 6 months for an entrepreneur to work with us, testing ideas with customers. Once an idea is validated, we incorporate the company and appoint you as founder.
Plus additional open roles across the portfolio of ventures.
