“Thermal pumps for renewable water sources are the collection of large quantities of low-quality energy available in renewable water and operate through compressed systems, backed by a small amount of power.” Technical managers of limited urban drainage companies described low-quality heat stored in renewable water during winter as being used for heating in buildings and for heating purposes; in summer, heat in buildings will be “pumped” and released to regeneration water for the purpose of regulating indoor temperature.
In recent days, Red Star journalists have been informed by the Bureau of Urban Water that, for the first time, the renewable water heat pumps project has been successfully completed and entered into the pilot phase of the ninth regeneration plant, with a new water source for nine plants, which is also the first time that the refrigerated water heat pumping technology is used in the centre city. The project makes water resources available through effective and integrated utilization of urban sewage resources.
Energy replacement through compressors
Four seasons provide good first-day conditions
In recent years, as cities have evolved, energy and resource regeneration in sewerage processes have received increasing attention, and in order to further broaden the landscape of sewage regeneration, improve the quality of energy resources, integrate technologies such as sewage treatment of low carbon processes, regeneration of contaminants’ energy cycle, and the multi-stakeholder use of renewable water into water-related planning systems, the Urban Water Authority has planned to build a large-scale carbon peak and demonstration project, one of which is renewable water heat pumps.
In the office of the ninth Reproduction Plant, a micro-windling of new arsenic was blown out of the Central Air Condition, but it appeared that the general air conditioners were housed in the “blower”.
“The use of water to achieve the effects of air-conditioning is not unusual, but we use the potential heat in renewable water to heating the building through thermal pumps of water, which is of great significance and can effectively increase the utilization of resources.” What is the sound expression. In an integrated air room, a new water heat pump is working. Renewable water is imported into the system from the pipeline and is then replaced with energy replacement through the core set of water heat pumps - compressors, thus achieving the role of heating refrigeration.
It is known that the temperature of the refrigerated water body is extremely stable, with a temperature of 14-20°C per winter, with a relatively high temperature of the water body compared to the air temperature of the environment, with increased vapour temperature of the heat pump cycle; and a temperature of 20 to 25°C in summer, with a slightly lower temperature of the water body than the environmental air, with reduced condensity temperature, which also makes the cooling effect more visible than the usual cooling and cooling-tower refriger systems, which also enhance the efficiency of the operation of the air fleet. At the same time, the unique features of four seasons also provide good pre-emptive conditions for water heat pumps. “The length of heating and cooling is very uneven, and the heating period is probably from December to March, for a cold period of approximately June to September, with the remainder of the time available for maintenance and adjustment of the entire fleet.” Well-known climatic conditions will maximize the efficiency of the use of heat pumps for renewable water sources.
No slag, wastewater, gas and fumes
The equivalent of 1.3 million trees per year
What is the actual effectiveness of the pilot project at present? The Humping pilot project for the ninth Renewed Water Plant will provide for 68 rooms in the integrated water plant building and in the area of the Material Security Centre, with a functional area of approximately 2889 m2, with a total cooling capacity of 398.2 kW, with a total heat load of 238.9 kW. The refrigerated water heat pumping cell, which is used for heat, is used to fire boilers systems such as coal, gas, fuel, etc. and is not incendiary processes, thus avoiding pollution such as smoke, sewerage, etc. Overall, thermal pumping technology for renewable water sources will operate in a non-combustion-free, smoke-free and non-contaminated environment that generates waste, wastewater, gas and smoke.
“In the case of heating systems, the use of solar water heat pumps will save at least 9.36 million kilograms per year, which will directly reduce CO2 emissions by about 234,000 kilograms, SO2 and NOX by about 11,000 kilograms, equivalent to 1.30 million trees.” What goes, it is not just an energy-saving project, but rather a project to reduce pollutant emissions, in terms of the effects of the use of other areas and of the pilot phase in the near future, while water heat pumps have a relatively small area of space and a common vision for saving space and construction.
In addition, a new water heat pumping cell could meet the heating and cooling requirements of multiple buildings and rooms at the same time, and equipment investment costs were significantly lower than those of the general air conditioning system, while a single unit would also go to a large amount of maintenance costs and operating costs. “For energy savings, energy transactions can be made and the economic value of resources can be effectively converted.” The Officer-in-Charge of the Sewerage Management Service of the Department of Urban Water Services said that future new regeneration plants throughout the city would introduce water heat pumping units with renewable water as a water source, re-use renewable water, and in the future promote the use of heat pumping units for renewable water sources in all major businesses, brands and industrial parks, with significant energy savings and reduced carbon emissions.
