MacOS introduced live videos on the lock screen in Mac OS Sonoma. Unfortunately, there is no native way to add your custom videos. Until this feature is added, there is a workaround that requires you to replace the system videos.

Go to the Apple Logo > System Settings > Wallpaper
Choose one of the video wallpapers under the Landscape, CityScape, Underwater, or Earth Category
Once set, open Finder and choose "Go" from the Menubar, then Go to Folder (⇧⌘G is the shortcut)
Paste the following into the Address Bar
/Library/Application Support/com.apple.idleassetsd/Customer/4KSDR240FPS
This will bring you to a folder with the source video for Apple's video wallpaper
Find the video that's currently set as your wallpaper and copy the full filename
Rename to the full filename you copied to your clipboard (example: F390FE3B-FA61-483D-BADC-2447F89951BA.mov
)
Copy the file to the folder you opened, authenticating to replace the file.
Restart your Mac
Note: it's possible this file gets replaced on future OS updates. Keep a local copy on your mac to perform this again if your wallpaper is replaced. Hopefully future versions of MacOS will allow this natively.
Unfortunately, neither WIndows 10 or 11 support video wallpaper at the time of writing this. Fortunately, there is an amazing free app called Lively on the Microsoft Store that can handle it for you.
