GAME and FP TOKEN
The primary goal in the game is to keep your pet alive by feeding it. The Time of Death (TOD) indicates your pet's remaining lifespan. You need to renew the TOD every three days, or else your pet dies. The basic idea of the game is to keep your pet alive and accumulate points. To renew the TOD, you need to purchase mushrooms for your pet or level up your pet.
BUY MUSHROOM AND BURN 0.4 FP
To renew your pet's TOD, you need to spend 0.4 FP tokens to buy mushrooms for your pet. You can purchase mushrooms by burning the game's token, FP (see What is token burning?). Clicking on the mushroom icon on the game's main screen allows you to purchase mushrooms, burning 0.4 FP tokens, and extending your pet's lifespan by 3 days. This cycle repeats every three days, and it comes with a certain cost. As of April 8, 2024 (1 FP = $9.75), the monthly cost of keeping your pet alive by feeding it mushrooms averages 4 FP, which amounts to $39.
The team announced a tweet stating that they reduced the mushroom price to 0.2 FP to facilitate taking care of your pet and that there will be innovations.
GAME ACTIVITIES
- Keeping your pet alive: If you fail to renew the TOD after three days, your pet enters hibernation mode, where it waits for another 7 days to avoid death. To bring your pet back from this state, you need to spend 10 FP.
- Battle: You can battle with other players every 30 minutes. The winner receives 0.5% of the loser's points. With every 40 battle victories, you can challenge a monster, and if you defeat it, you receive the monster NFT. These monster NFTs can be sold in the NFT market in the future.
- Spin: By clicking on the spin icon in the explorer section, you can earn points and shields.
- Gatcha Machine: You can earn attack and defense points with the Gatcha machine. These points allow you to compete with other players, earning game points, i.e., Ethereum. Each upgrade grants you one Gatcha machine opportunity.
- Dice game: A simple dice game where 6 people pay 10 FP each to enter, and the winner receives a 50 FP prize. Your entry order is also your dice number.

You can transfer your returned FP tokens back to your wallet. With this option, you also become an FP token investor. The key to playing the game in a stable manner and renewing the TOD is to use the mushroom and stake features together and in balance.
I recommend monitoring price movements for a while before buying FP tokens. Due to the in-game functionality and the token burning feature, aggressive price changes can occur.
FP TOKEN
I believe it's important to emphasize the FP token. FP is the official token of the Frenpet game. The token is produced in a total of 10 million units on the Base blockchain. The FP token is constantly encouraged for purchase through play-to-earn and stake-to-earn mechanisms in the game and also continuously reduces its supply through the token burn mechanism.
