Algo Pub ($ALGOPUB) is one of the smaller Solana projects I hold. I'm not on the team. This post is about one design choice in the product, paper-testing strategies in public, and what I'll be checking once the public feed opens. Numbers were pulled on Friday, Sep 25, 2026, around 5:05 PM CT.

The idea: rules you can read, results you can't quietly edit
Most retail trading "strategies" on Solana live in someone's head, a private bot, or a screenshot of a winning trade. algo.pub, from GG Labs LLC (the team behind blinks.gg), is trying something different:
-
Describe the strategy as rules. Entries, exits and filters sit on one canvas as connected nodes, so another person can follow the logic without reading code.
-
Publish it as a card. The site's own wording: publish in one tap, and Live Paper P&L starts automatically.
-
Keep every version's record. Each version of a strategy keeps its own results, so changing a rule after a bad week doesn't wipe the old numbers.
-
Compare. The feed is meant to show rules and results side by side, so you can see which ones actually hold up.
The part I find interesting is number 3. The easiest way to fake a track record is to keep tweaking a strategy until the backtest looks great and then show only the final version. Version history that stays attached to the card makes that harder.
What "paper" does and doesn't tell you
Paper P&L is simulated. It's useful for one thing, which is checking whether the rules do what the author says they do, on live prices, going forward, without cherry-picked history. It doesn't tell you:
-
how a real order would have filled in a thin pool (slippage),
-
what fees and priority fees would have cost,
-
whether you'd actually follow the rules when the position is red.
So I'll read the feed as "is this logic sane?", not "this is what I'd have made."
Where things stand today (Sep 25)
-
The site title is "Algo Pub Feed · Beta", and its description says the public strategy feed "is being prepared for its beta release." The page itself still says "Beta in the works."
-
The sitemap lists a single public test strategy so far: a SOL RSI paper-acceptance test by @spo, dated Sep 22.
-
The team's posts counted down to "9/25 Closing bell", which lines up with today's submission deadline for Stocklana, the Solana Foundation's tokenized-stocks hackathon. The team has posted about building for it. Entries aren't public, and winners are announced by Oct 2, so I'm not assuming anything about results.
-
Holders expect the public beta next week. That's expected, not confirmed. I haven't seen an official date.
-
The team has also said its in-app strategy AI will be powered by MiniRouter (Sep 14 post). I haven't been able to try it.
The token, checked on-chain (~5:05 PM CT)
| Check | Result |
|---|---|
| Market cap | ~$70.9K (DexScreener) |
| Liquidity | ~$28.3K, main PumpSwap ALGOPUB/SOL pool; LP 100% locked (RugCheck) |
| 24h volume | ~$4.6K across 21 trades (13 buys / 8 sells) |
| 24h change | about +20% |
| Holders | 485 (Jupiter) |
| Mint / freeze authority | Both disabled; 0% transfer fee |
| RugCheck | Score 1, no risk items listed |
| Jupiter | Not verified; organic score low |
| Dev wallet | ~9.97%, no sells seen in recent activity (only creator-fee claims) |
| Concentration | Top 10 ≈ 60% including the pool and dev; RugCheck links ~10% of supply to three wallet clusters |
It's also listed on CoinGecko. Market data moves fast; check the live chart rather than trusting a Friday-evening snapshot.
Risks, plainly
-
No public product to try yet. The feed could slip past next week.
-
Tiny and thin. With under $30K of liquidity, a few hundred dollars moves the price in either direction.
-
Concentrated supply. The dev wallet holds ~10%, and linked wallets hold roughly another 10%.
-
No documented token utility. The team has rewarded holders before (a July airdrop and alpha access), but algo.pub doesn't say the token is required for anything.
-
Copycats exist. The token isn't Jupiter-verified. Only trust the full mint above.
No price predictions here, and none are implied.
What I'll check when the feed opens
-
Can anyone publish a strategy, or only allow-listed accounts?
-
Are paper results shown per version, with timestamps, as described?
-
Is it obvious where paper results end and live trading would begin?
-
Does the AI builder produce readable rules, or a black box?
I'll write a follow-up with what I find.
