Continuing the expansion of the Spark Liquidity Layer (SLL), we are excited to announce its integration with Aave. This move introduces an improved stablecoin allocation mechanism through SLL, designed to enhance user experience across Aave’s Core, Prime, and Base markets.

With this integration, the SLL will deploy up to $1.5 billion in stablecoins across Aave’s Core, Prime, and Base markets to match borrow demand. Specifically:

• Core market: SLL will allocate USDC and USDS.

• Prime market: SLL will allocate USDS.

• Base market: SLL will focus on deploying USDC.

The Spark Liquidity Layer improves stablecoin liquidity in the previously mentioned markets, which in turn stabilizes borrowing rates and enhances the overall experience for borrowers.

One of the key advantages of SLL’s integration is its ability to stabilize rates across the Core, Prime, and Base markets where it is implemented. Whenever borrowing rates for stablecoins increase in one market, SLL dynamically rebalances liquidity across the different markets. This rebalancing helps maintain rate stability and reduces volatility, creating a more predictable and efficient environment for borrowers and lenders.
