STP Network to Rebrand to AWE Network

The proposal to rebrand STP Network to AWE Network has passed with overwhelming positive support! After over a week of discussion and feedback on the initial proposal, STP #9 has passed on Snapshot. The rebranding from STP Network to AWE Network and the token change from $STPT to $AWE represents a pivotal step in our mission to open the portal to Autonomous Worlds. In the coming weeks, we will outline a clear action plan with feedback from the community and exchanges on the logistics of the t...

STP’s Token Supply (STPT) is Now Fully Unlocked

STP has now fully unlocked its token supply, STPT. In line with the established STPT token release schedule from 2019, the final token unlock has now taken place, resulting in 100% of STPT tokens being in circulation. This significant step now enables complete governance of the project by token holders, marking another important milestone in STP's journey toward full decentralization. Over the past couple of years, STP has been dedicated to building an ecosystem optimized for DAOs. STPT ...

The first DAO-optimized dApps and tools coming to the Verse ecosystem

Our Approach After unveiling the Verse Network last week, our team is introducing an initial lineup of dApps that will provide full service tooling for DAOs and all their stakeholders. They will immediately be able to service existing DAOs along with newly created DAOs and their communities. Built on top of Verse, the first dApps are no-code and user-friendly that will allow communities and groups to seamlessly transition towards decentralized decision-making. The Verse Network is an optimize...

Social DAOs: do they work?

Social DAOs have been trending lately since the release of IreneDAO. It definitely seems interesting to combine DAOs and social media. IreneDAO promises to be much more than the simple NFT collection that it is now: it wants to be the governance DAO for a new social media platform called SO-COL, short for “Social Collectibles”. So far, IreneDAO is a collection of 1,107 NFTs, each one offering a membership ‘pass’ for communities on SO-COL. The DAO is currently discussing what other features sh...
