We are no longer waiting for the age of artificial intelligence—it has already arrived. Quietly at first when chatGPT was released, then all at once in 2026, AI has begun reshaping the way we live, work, and think. What once seemed like a sci-fi story—something straight out of Edge of Tomorrow—has finally become real.
The most profound shift is not just automation, but augmentation. AI is not simply replacing human effort even though it feels like it; it is amplifying it. A single person, equipped with the right tools, can now perform the work of a full team—designing, coding, researching, and creating at speeds that were unimaginable just a few years ago.
Are you prepared for it?
In healthcare, AI can assist in early diagnosis and personalized treatment and it begs the question of, do we need general practitioners when they simply interpret what we tell them? Here's some fuzzy feeling numbers from the tech industry.
Jobs will evolve into multi dimensional roles and some specialists will likely be looking work. Other roles will disappear permanently such as junior devs both in front and backend but on the bright side new roles will emerge such as the prompt-engineer.
The challenge is not whether AI will change everything—it will—but how we as the human race adapt to that change. Skills like critical thinking, creativity, and emotional intelligence will become more valuable, not less.
Perhaps the most important realization is that AI reflects us. It learns from human data, mirrors human biases, and amplifies human intentions. This makes its development not just a technical issue, but deeply a human one. The future of AI will depend on the choices we make today—how we build it, regulate it, and integrate it into society.
