The Skribbles has been an amazing adventure so far, full of learning experiences — which have allowed us to develop many new ideas. And we do not want to stop here.
Although we promised not to have a roadmap, we realize that there is something bigger to accomplish with the community we have managed to gather.
This is why we have decided to continue and do everything to make our project a success in the long-term. We wanted to share with you the outline of our plan to achieve our ambitious goals.
Note — The below roadmap will be given additions and more details throughout the coming months. It is also possible that some of the details change over time as events unfold.
Step 1 - The Rebranding of The Skribbles
We’re launching a second collection as you may already know. But why?
Firstly, since the initial collection mint was free, we found that many bots had the opportunity to mint multiple Skribbles. This leaves us with a large portion of holders who are actually just bots who mass minted. Therefore, most of our efforts to raise the floor price would be in vain, because at the slightest opportunity for profit, these bots would put the Skribbles they have minted up for sale. This would make it long and exhausting to get the floor price of our collection to increase.
Secondly, the collection we’re currently working on has a completely different artistic direction. Therefore, we have to adapt our identity with this new collection for consistency and to avoid confusing newcomers. That's why we are going to reorganize our networks, our website, and our branding in general. The Skribbles will remain the backbone of our ecosystem until the mint of our new collection.
Finally, we have real ambitions for this new project. We want it to bring tangible utility to its holders. This is why it is essential to raise funds. This would allow us to hire more staff and alphas callers, create large-scale partnerships with big projects and simply continue to pursue the creation of great opportunities for our holders.
Don't worry — the collection will remain completely free to all Skribbles holders who meet the eligibility requirements.
Step 2 - The Free Mint (For Skribbles Holders Only)
Once we have redesigned our entire branding, and recruited all the people we need to get our second collection off the ground, we will start to communicate with the world, launch partnerships with other projects and distribute whitelists to the most active and engaged members.
Starting in mid-August, we will do our maximum to develop the community as well as to finish the collection we are working on.
The free mint will take place around mid-September.
We will reserve 1444 NFTs for our existing community, namely the Skribbles holders and those who have been hand selected to be part of the adventure due to their implication in the project.
By the way, we will reveal the name of the collection and the first sneak peeks soon.
Step 3 - The Public Sale
There will be a public sale for the rest of the supply. We plan to supply a maximum of 4444 NFTs in total for this new collection. So to sum up, 1444 for the Skribbles holders and 3000 for the public sale. We think it is healthier to have a smaller supply. The price has yet to be defined.
The public sale will take place two weeks after the free mint, by the end of September.
The time between the free mint and the public sale will be crucial. This will be the time to act as a close-knit community and all together keep our floor high as well as raise the hype around our project.
This time, we'll do everything we can to prevent bots from being part of the public sale. We will use Premint or a similar service to make a raffle with a minimum requirements to limit the possibility of bots entering our collection.
Step 4 - The beginning of an amazing adventure
We want to make this new collection a real brand, we want to organize events, become a private and exclusive circle with the best alpha callers in the business, continue to partner with the biggest NFTs projects as well as brands, but most of all, we want to send you incredible new collections totally free - for all holders.
Because after all, we are creative, artists and that's why we got into NFTs. To make beautiful stuff and to have fun. One thing is for sure, we want to continuously improve the quality of the art of the collections we will create in the future.
