It has been sometime since the war now.

The grey chimp has seen the light. Gone to the way of commerce.

Long had the great grey chimps of the jungle fought for all of their needs. From the ripe banana to the pizza they so loved. The grey chimp camp was, and will always function as a militaristic community.

Our way changed when the red chimp approached with their GUM accord.

The GUM accord was an agreement for chimps, by chimps. This agreement stated that all disputes would be worked out in GUM… that GUM would become the backbone of the chimp way of life. This comes after the devastation of the bananas.

The banana stands… where all the money was… were terrorized by bands of chimps hell bent on starting the last war. They succeeded.

They grey chimps should have saw this coming… or done more to prevent the raids by chimps of different color on other chimps. This brought the entire jungle to its knees. No chimp felt safe transporting… or even speaking of their bananas.

This all during a time where the world was going bananas for bananas.

The grey chimps were smart.

With their strategic military bases… they were able to save trillions of bananas. This new GUM accord, however, made this point… pointless.

When the GUM was brought over from the factories abroad… everyone wanted to spend all the time they could at the gumball machines. Here you could deposit and withdraw GUM at anytime and the leaderboards were automatically updated.

This started a NEW kind of war… one of commerce.

Who could move, spend, acquire and give the most GUM.

This far out shone the banana culture where those who could eat the most, where the wealthiest.
