Nillion is a secure computation network which mirrors blockchain’s decentralization of trust for valuable data. It utilizes Nil Message Compute (NMC) tech for faster, more secure decentralized networks pioneering Web3’s first decentralized, trustless, and permissionless network. Nillion raised $20M in a Seed round on Dec 12, 2022, with support from 13 investors including Truffle Ventures and Hashkey Exchange. Its incentivized testnet, Phase 1: Genesis Sprint, is active, testing the Coordination Layer for 4 weeks before integrating Petnet in Phase 2.

Testnet Participation Guide

Setting up your wallet:

• Download and set up your Keplr wallet.

• Add Nillion Testnet by going to the Keplr Chains page and searching for “Nillion”.

• Click “Add to Keplr” and approve the request prompt.

• Go to your Keplr extension, open the menu, and click “Manage Chain Visibility.” This takes you to the Select Chains page in a new tab. Search for “Nil” and select it to make the Nillion Testnet visible within Keplr, then click “Save.”

Claim Testnet faucet:

• Get your wallet address from your Keplr extension. Open it and click the “Copy address” button.

• You’ll see addresses for all enabled chains. Search for “NIL”, and copy your Nillion wallet address.

• Go to: https://faucet.testnet.nillion.com/

• Follow the process on the page to claim Testnet tokens.

• If you encounter any issues with funding your wallet, try again later.

Sending NIL token:

• Open your Keplr wallet and search for the token you want to send (NIL).

• Select NIL and click on “Send”.

• Paste in any NIL wallet address, you can use this address: nillion1gev2fdp6pcx73d82ay5m7z0va5t9paqdhgyxen

• Enter any amount and leave the memo field empty.

• Click “Next” and confirm the transaction.

• If you get a transaction failed prompt, you can try again.
