You have the ability to tap into all the magical energies you need from within yourself. I think women and queer people have a much easier time of tapping into these energies because the fear of punishment is lessened in private (woman and queer people have been living out “normal” lives where they get to be whoever they want in private for a long time), where for men, the transgressive nature of being anything but male seems to be keeping a lot of guys in a prison that is all-“masculine”-all-the-time, and instead of exploring the energies that are inside of them in a healthy way that subverts the toxic environment enforced by the patriarchy. There’s a straight dude narrative that you need a woman to bring in the energies you “lack”. There are many valid reasons to do group ritual, but it’s not the only way to “bring feminine energy” to a working.
This all is to say that there are a lot of creative ways for all of us to build the necessary energies in ourselves that don’t involve being “unable” to do certain magic if you don’t have a opposite-sex vessel to use, and I’m tired of people defining Babalon by who she’s fucking, and for people to have a limited view of what male and female “roles” are that they put Babalon’s attributes into a second-wave feminism box because they never matured past that point personally.
