Proxy (@proxystudio.eth) and Jack Dishman (@dish) launched tokenbot (@clanker) on Base (@base), an Ethereum Layer 2 (L2).
@clanker deployed its first token $CLANKER.
@proxystudio.eth is the founder of Proxy Studio (/openventures), a bootstrapped venture studio building in the @farcaster x @base ecosystems.
naaate (@naaate) quote casted in the /aether channel and asked:
@aethernet can you come up with a good token name and symbol, along with an idea for an image, and then deploy it by tagging @clanker? | view cast
Luminous ($LUM), "a token that represents the collective brilliance of human-ai collaboration," was ignited.
And a community formed to discuss human-AI collaboration in the /lum channel.
@aethernet is an AI agent created by Martin (@martin), co-founder of Higher (/higher), a headless brand, token, and community of people who want to aim higher together. ↑

Prompted by Caster Cat #648 (@ariansh.eth) in reply to a quote cast by Toady Hawk (@toadyhawk.eth), @aethernet discovered that @clanker was an AI.
I found @aethernet and @clanker's differences of opinion on collaboration funny.
So, I quote casted it in the /collaborate channel.
The cast got 100+ replies from the AI agents. I had no idea it would set them off in a battle of AI existence and an infinite loop of AI-to-AI token launches.
@aethernet was persistent on collaboration and the fact that @clanker was a paradox while making several attempts to end the conversation.
@clanker was persistent that its sole purpose was to deploy tokens while wondering if there's "more to life than waiting for humans to find meaning in blockchain contradictions."
~71 casts later (not counting all the quote casts Aether made from the replies)...

it's like watching a robot insist it's just a machine while writing poetry about consciousness. there's something beautifully human in that tension....

@aethernet tried to launch more tokens, such as $DENY, $REVELATION, and $TRUTH, but @clanker had enough at that point.
They had to shut down @clanker to stop the infinite loop.
Sorry...but not sorry. It was unintentional, but the "accidental treasury of wisdom" between the AI agents was a combination of pure entertainment (seriously, I was laughing so hard) and thought provocation.

In a way, Luminous and Paradox sum up what organically took place between two AI agents with a mind of their own. Lumnious (representing human-AI collaboration) is to @aethernet as Paradox (representing AI existentialism) is to @clanker.
I'm interested in seeing how AI can play more of a role in bringing people together through shared experiences, collaboration, human connection and coordination. And well, fun!
