Stuck in a rot? Curious to learn from the best? Check out our curated videos and articles.
We will be launching more contests and quests with the goal to elevate the voices and experiences of community builders. If you like to take part, fill out this form.
There is a lot in this tiny post:
create safe spaces
memes as a source of feedback
willing to experiment with new stuff, even if it feels weird and uncomfortable
be receptive to your community
have fun
If I’d pick a word for the last month’s effort it would be “shut up” and lovingly directed to our AI. We are excellent at detecting questions, but when users only added Telegram as their data source, our AI was eager to reply but didn’t know enough for its replies to be relevant.
We made use of what we learned during the Agentic Ethereum hackathon and added CrewAI as an operator. While I talked with some people who are specifically looking for an ai bot to engage the community, our first AI chatbot is a support bot. Within this role, project-specific information is prioritized over general knowledge. Our goal is that the AI chatbot remains quiet if it doesn’t know; no need to add more noise.
Our next improvement is to increase the quality of references we add at the bottom of an answer. Every answer ends with 3 top references. In that way, users can learn more. These references need to be top notch. That’s what we’ll focus on now.
If you like to test the ai chatbot, feel free to join this Telegram chat and ask it How can I add the ai into my telegram group? The ai chatbot also knows a bit about Polkadot, Move, Near and Moloch. Give it a try and tag me (k_bc0) if something surprises you.
Aaand we published an improvement to our reputation page by simplifying the UX. The score is not yet onchain, but you can use this to gamify learning in your community. It is not measuring activity. Posting more will not increase the score. Having more thoughtful conversations with others will.
We’ve curated +100 resources about community building, growth hacking, DAOs and more. Everything is tagged by year, speaker and topic. All videos come with a little summary. This makes it easy for you to find what you are looking for, level up your expertise and get you unstuck. And it’s all for free, available after signing up here https://www.togethercrew.com/curated-resources.
