To the best of our knowledge, this is the biggest and most valuable giveaway in NFT history. 

Our intentions for doing so are two-fold. 

The first reason is that we believe very simply in putting our money where our mouth is. We are building Tripsters to be a force to be reckoned with in the Web3 world. In every space but especially in the Web3 space, talk is cheap but actions speak louder than words. Web3 offers the unique capability for public transactions and we will utilize this capability to the fullest. 

By investing $1.4 Million into Apes solely for the purpose of giving them away, we are very publicly displaying our commitment to Tripsters. 

Firstly, we are showing that we have the financial means and willingness to invest large sums into Tripsters months before even taking a single gwei from the public. Such a large up front investment shows that we have what it takes to see Tripsters through and to build strong regardless of external circumstances. By publicly purchasing and then giving away these Apes, the world can see our commitment to Tripsters and the fact that we follow through on our word. 

So why are we giving away the Apes? 

The answer to this lies in our commitment to connecting NFT communities. Our initial Baggie Airdrop will only be compatible with BAYC. While we are sure that many BAYC holders will be participating in our mint, we are cognizant of the fact that our Baggies are only compatible with an item that the vast majority of NFT collectors do not own. We want to give our entire community a shot at owning one by fairly giving away our 4 Apes to our community. 

So how will the giveaway work? 

We have developed a smart contract that will randomly draw an address from the pool of whitelisted address that will be minting off the Tripsters contract. We will be publishing the contract address prior to mint. 

We will add all eligible addresses into the contract prior to the mint so the public can see that the same pool of addresses in the giveaway contract match the ones in the mint contract. 

We will call the findNewWinner function in the contract every 2500 Tripsters minted and the contract will randomly draw the winning address from the pool. The contract shuffles the pool of addresses prior to each findNewWinner call and therefore, we eliminate the possibility of an attacker or malicious miner manipulating the minting process in an attempt to game the giveaway. 

We will ensure that the winning address has followed the proper terms and conditions for participation in the giveaway and upon confirmation that it has, we will transfer the Apes to the winning addresses.

As running a giveaway as valuable as ours comes fraught with legal exposure if not done properly, we have retained the services of a globally recognized, Top 40 law firm with deep experience in Web3 to draft the terms and conditions governing the entries into the giveaway, and to assist us in ensuring that all applicable state and federal laws are followed.
