From crisp, fresh air,
berries and snow
to bike rides and
sand between toes.
Mountains, sea:
summer was a gift to me.
How was your summer? As you can see in the highku above, mine was a gift. We enjoyed some time in the mountains, and some time by the sea. The world has so much to offer us. From the fresh air, stunning views and even patches of snow of the Alps, to the joy of playing in salty water, feeling the sand between your toes and watching the sun lower itself into the sea. It is such a gift to be able to enjoy that.
And speaking of gifts, maybe you have seen that I have produced a zine filled with poetry and crowned with visual art: trpplzine #0. It's the pilot version of the zine, which lives predominantly onchain as an NFT, but I have also been gifting physical copies to, well, the world. I've been putting them in little free libraries and book exchanges for people to find. A gift of poetry. The zine, my poetry NFTs, and also this newsletter, they are all, in a way, small gifts. I love the idea of people being able to enjoy my art for free. I try to keep the threshold low. And by making them available as NFTs, and also by running a paid supporters option called Trpplr through Hypersub, I enable those who like to support me to give a gift back in the form of crypto currencies or regular money, 'fiat' as they call it in the crypto scene.
Which gift has summer given you? And which gift have you been giving this summer? Let me know in the comments.
Help me keep giving my poetry to the world, by giving a little back with a monthly gift via Hypersub:
Talking about gifts... it was a real gift last year to be a guest on the Los Fomos show. It was fun to do, and a big honour to be part of it. A true gift. So, I brought some gifts for Tako and Pauline as well. I think I shared it before, but it is still fun to watch.

It sounds like you really soaked in both sides of summer, the calm peaks and the lively sea. I love the way you’re turning poetry into something people can stumble on like treasure. For me the gift was time with family, and I’ve been giving back by helping friends dive deeper into crypto
