It was another exciting week in the world of onchain gaming, with releases from DF Archon, Oceanus, Project Mirage, ggQuest, Kamigotchi, and Primodium.
While there were fewer splashy headlines than last week, it’s clear that teams are continuing to ship.
Slowly but surely, despite a seemingly endless crab market, the onchain gaming ecosystem continues to level up.
Before we get into the rest of this week’s piece, I wanted to touch on some big WASD news…

The show (just called WASD) will cover the onchain gaming ecosystem from a player's perspective, breaking down the latest news, the hottest games, and what WASD itself is getting up to.

An update on what our guild’s been up to this week.
It’s been a big week for WASD in Duper.
As previously mentioned, we released our first curated quest on ggQuest as a part of their Duper Creator Quest challenges.
Beat in-game challenges curated by your favorite creators
Receive creators’ NFT cards
Receive extra Sparks (Duper’s in-game currency)
To complete our quest, you must “Dupe” (trick someone in the game) three times. The first 100 people to do so will receive a sick NFT card featuring the WASD logo.
(Shoutout to Hope and Etienne for their help with the quest)
This is no easy feat - So far, only two players have completed it!
Aside from questing, WASD players continue to clean up in ranked games.
Etienne, Hope, Akina, and Toby each placed in the Top 10 in earnings from August 7-13!
Massive gg to them - And be sure to stay tuned for more cool Duper-related projects that we’re cooking!
