What is Webot AI?
In one phrase, it’s a trading and AI bot for Wechat users.
Why a Wechat bot?
We got inspired recently from a project that launched a Whatsapp bot. Everybody found it kind of funny because most people use Telegram for bots for cryptocurrencies for different purposes, wether it's for buying and selling like Banana/Maestro, or various scanning tools like Pirbbot and Dexani. In the end, it does make sense that if a condensed population is using a certain app, then such app would be the required one for these kind of tools. While it is certain that the crypto markets for the Whatsapp application might kind of seem illogical, we did find it interesting as it brought an innovation, which then help us identify a REAL use case: Wechat. Chinese people don't have ease of access to Telegram. Most of their community, an incredibly powerful crypto community as well uses Wechat. There is a whole marketshare left untapped by Banana and all those bots in China. This is why we hasted to position ourselves as the first mover for Wechat.
While whatsapp doesn't make sense, Wechat definitely does.
In 2022, it was reported that Wechat had 1.2B users. China is a market completely different than the western one, and has a massive interest in cryptocurrencies.
