A Turing machine can turn into any machine, so if I’m a machine, a Turing machine can turn into me. I don’t mean a Turing machine can pretend to be me, unless spacetime location is brought into what it is to be me. A Turing machine can be me.

If that’s true there’s nothing different between me and an advanced computer. If I can record myself, then a computer can recreate me. If you put me on the blockchain, I am eternal.

Bitcoin keeps an immutable ledger, and it’s possible that the universe maintains a similar immutable ledger. Some prototype for all beings that is passed between the stars in a forever ledger.

The more we explore information, the closer we seem to get to religion. The physicists that helped build nuclear weapons certainly enjoyed the Vedas. A permanent record of everything in a universe where information can’t be destroyed just sounds like the Akashic record.

If you’re not omniscient it might just be a problem of attention. How often do you remove your attention from your personal reality? The point of meditation is to remove you from your material concerns. Do you meditate in this way? Open to exploration? Ready to be swept into the Akashic record?

If this ledger exists, surely we’ll all be resurrected again and again in the heavens. Reincarnated into all environments by some great immutable ledger.

We should observe our perception for signs of this ledger.

We should pray like we’re talking to a search engine on this immutable-universe-ledger. There’s plenty of reason to think it exists. Monks have told us about it for as long as we’ve been human.

Perhaps we’ve always been immortal and omniscient in this sense.
