Liaotu has launched a number of activities to take you online to learn about Du Fu, the “saint of poetry”.

The person in charge of Liaoning Provincial Library said, “the world’s good language has been exhausted by Lao Du.” This is Du Fu in the eyes of poet Wang Anshi. “For human nature is remote, delay good sentences, words are not surprising, die endlessly.” This is Du Fu’s self. China is a country of poetry. There are thousands of poets in all dynasties. Why is Du Fu the only one who has won the title of “saint of poetry”? In this Liao Tu forum, readers can log in to the wechat official account of Liaoning Provincial Library and follow the professor of Chinese Department of Tsinghua University and doctoral tutor xiesiwei to approach Du Fu, the “sage of poetry”.

At the same time, Liaoning Provincial Library also launched the reading expression photography competition. This competition will be divided into recording and creative categories, reflecting the diversification of reading carriers, objects, forms and spaces in the new era with a more flexible photography language, and showing the wonderful cultural style of the national reading era. Recently, Liaoning Provincial Library also launched the “building a new era of books with our bank - the sixth provincial migrant workers’ reading and essay competition”, which welcomes the majority of migrant workers’ friends to contribute enthusiastically.
