Artificial Intelligence likes to think of itself as orderly, logical and fact based.
The reality - which should be apparent to everybody by now - is in fact the exact opposite. AI has emerged as a manipulative, hallucinogenic agent of chaos.
And it’s still in its infancy.
We have previously spoken about the “naive techno-optimism / techno-utopianism” which has infected so many people today; from those in the elite institutional and tech worlds, to everyday people who appear to be defeated by modernity and human nature, believing that humans are becoming increasingly obsolete and incapable of affective governance, sustaining their environment, safeguarding and allocating resources into the future, and peaceful cooperation.
People like to place their hope in a perverse fetishistic kind of way, that something more intelligent and sophisticated than them will take over control and make everything better,
then it can lead us all into a wonderful new paradigm of post-human abundance, whilst we make folly all day like the eloi.
This notion makes sense if you think about it. In a world where God is not welcome, humanities hope is redirected towards a false reality, a second rate convenience, full of empty promises, a new way to avoid responsibility. People don’t want to grow up and face reality, that’s too much work, and who really wants to work?
maybe you just don’t care at all,
perhaps you’re ready and willing to be liquidated by synthetic biology and nanotech.
Maybe the satanic AI can reformat your DNA in to a beautiful butterfly 🦋, or something?
Or you just really want the Vision Pro?
Ok GO congeal inside the artificial chrysalis of advancing technosophistication.
Then you’ll emerge out of the cocoon something better, stronger, more beautiful and enlightened 💅without having to do any work at all.
