As a new bull market begins to emerge, now is the moment for crypto consumer applications to captivate mainstream audiences with experiences that rival – and exceed – traditional web2 platforms. We’ve seen platforms such as Polymarket create meaningful impact for everyday users, and we believe a wave of new crypto-enabled applications will follow suit, reshaping how we interact online. We know this because we speak with builders daily who are eager to take on the big incumbents and are making the necessary moves to do so.
We’re thrilled to introduce “0xRec” an AI Acceleration Program and powerful initiative designed to equip web3 crypto consumer startups with an AI recommendation system that can enable them to compete head-to-head with web2 powerhouses like TikTok, Spotify, Netflix, Amazon, and Meta. This one of the first steps we are taking to push for client diversity in the the web3 social ecosystem by doing the heavy lifting for small and innovative teams building third-party applications that improve user's choices.
Selected teams will receive up to $100K in credits to use ❜mbd AI models that can predict what users will do onchain up to 3X better than traditional approaches, with industry-leading responsiveness and scale. Successful applicants will get dedicated support to shape their AI strategies and exclusive access to industry-leading data science resources.
Participants will benefit from direct access to our team of experts at the intersection of web3 and AI. The ❜mbd team brings machine-learning personalization experience from organizations such as AWS, X, Chainlink, and Bloomberg, with backing from pioneers in the space (Mask Network, a16z crypto CSX, Arweave & others).
Up to $100K in AI credits for ❜mbd models to supercharge your app with advanced machine learning capabilities.
Strategic access to our roadmap for tailored AI implementation, aligning product milestones with our core development.
Dedicated support from industry-leading data scientists and AI researchers to help craft your AI strategy.
Enterprise plan access, including features like custom model building and off-chain data ingestion.
Incentivized community growth with access to ❜mbd training rewards pilot to benefit your app users.
Social media support and marketing to boost visibility and drive adoption during irl events tailored to onboard users and testers.
Community and introductions to others in the program and ❜mbd’s network
With these resources, we’re supporting the next generation of web3 innovators, helping them bring best-in-class AI-driven user experiences to a rapidly expanding audience.
📅 Apply now! Applications close on December 30th – don’t miss your chance to join the future of web3 consumer apps!

Hi Purple DAO 🟪 I submitted a 2 ETH proposal to fund Data & AI infra as a public good for Farcaster. With a long term vision: grow data tools & AI into revenue-generating Purple products. Please review & vote here: https://nouns.build/dao/base/0x8de71d80ee2c4700bc9d4f8031a2504ca93f7088/vote/18
cc @alexpaden
in my view... @neynar has most of the fc data infra needed for ai apps @unbias has built a lot of data infra plus apis, so a retro grant may make sense i'm generally interested to see what gets funded by this @purple prop, so on that basis alone i'd support, and would also be happy to test anything with @atlas
Thanks for the feedback @jrf 🙏 I agree that neynar has all of FC data, but my proposal is to actually make it richer. For example, in dune.dsart.casts_features, you'll find the cast category, topic, language, features about clarity, sentiment, style, and vector embeddings. As a first layer unopinionated dataset, these features won't be provided by neynar, and I think they're pretty useful for ML and AI. Check out dune.dsart.fid_features too for ML-ready user dataset. Also, where can I learn more about Atlas?
that does sound super useful to have, also sounds expensive to create, so it'd be very advantageous for someone to build as a public good! i haven't dug into dune, appreciate the tip @atlas how can people learn more about you? besides heyjoinatlas.com...
We have it in our plate to push classification models output to Dune as we have enriched casts and users with +50 categories since network inception. Just too much backlog but we can work on this with the community!
curious to know how this complements (or overlaps) @mbd work can you expand more?
I didn't know about that project, I wanted to try it right now but there is no free plan. But it looks like a Data and AI toolbox similar to what I am proposing to build as a public good infrastructure in open source.

We're launching 0xRec, an AI accelerator program powered by our team of machine learning personalization talents at @mbd. This is part of a broader push for client diversity. The idea is to help small innovative teams get really good at providing the very best onchain content to their users. If we want to retain users beyond this cycle, web3 apps will need to compete head-to-head vs. web2 powerhouses. We think that we, as a space, can do better than what exists today and give user's more agency over their experiences and feeds. --- Some of the benefits of the program include dedicated support from us and free access (up to $100k worth of credits) to our AI models for personalization, moderation and discovery.
