I have long been skeptical of the idea of using visualization as a technology to improve performance and motivation. It seems to me that this is always some nonsense, like what you read from a cheap self-help book or what you hear from a liar's motivational speaker. But the fact is that visualization is a very simple approach and can greatly stimulate motivation. It has nothing to do with directing cosmic energy, indicating your inner purpose or any other similar nonsense. Instead, it is based on a simple motivation principle, that is, the more specific, specific and available our psychological representations of goals and objectives, the more motivated we will be to achieve goals.
