Decentralized protocol even if sufficiently tells people they can rely on it for decades kind of In reality from the start there were compromises like storage and removal of early interactions and casts that you made Right now I think farcaster stance is super weak going forward (realistically) It might have been ahead of time and still is I think since Ethereum and Bitcoin are struggling today when they have the biggest communities in the world today including many full time contributors and researchers Compared to that farcaster feels like a small pond My point is that when ethereum will grow 10x from here there may be enough people in the community who will care enough and beyond monetary incentives + there will be a foundation structure to keep a network like farcaster going Farcaster never had anything more than peak speculation and always had top down centralized control and no allocation of resources - those investments could have gone to full time researchers and contributors same way ethereum foundation and core contributors are funded right But instead the target was always in the growth of users and numbers vs setting up a foundation of people who are willing to full time work on it beyond monetary rewards This makes me sure we will see a network like farcaster at some point take over and grow 100-100000x+ once our industry is mature enough and global culture shifts overall from making stupid investments and getting rich quick schemes and investing into friends / pals and status games and power games...

if farcaster really sunsets within a year / years I hope there would still be some crazy person from all of us who still here right now that would run an archive or something Spent insane amount of time and effort into posting here, lots of thoughts, lots legit long term thinking, some spam sharing of the apps too etc. lol how could it be farcaster without that Grateful though that all of it is paying off right now when prompting and judging is all you need to succeed with AI

Everyone been praising that new farming game on base But it’s quite awful everywhere you look besides those graphics - Raised money before even releasing an mvp that works - Extremely expensive pricing model for gems for what you get - Very little creative / interactivity / boring gameplay - Need to restart app constantly if you wait with it opened so your actions work - Scrolling / moving around gets frozen often requiring restart too - Lots of elements clearly vibe coded I’m sorry but I’m not buying it

I feel like at this time we don't need to care about these soulless corposlop incs like zora After 2 months of building with Claude Code I'm confident we can spin up whatever digital product we want if community takes an effort

in general last 2 months I just gave up criticizing everything purely because I couldn't find enough time as it became overwhelming with so many things going sideways, for the first time after a major eth event in Argentina I became puzzled and bearish and I rightly redirected this energy into positive mindset and building since then but until then I started opposing publicly and with increasing anger some of the things I felt strongly about then I saw this quote from vitalik "not in pushing the people you oppose down, but in lifting the people you feel sympathy for up" and that may have been the primary trigger to change my approach critical thinking is a must to get to a better outcome though but needs to be applied where it can be listened and most importantly acted upon and at that time we saw base pushing something against everyone's public opinion and they ended up killing it afterwards so yeah just some unstructured thoughts here that I've been holding off for some time
