I just minted a petlet. My Warplet now carries a small and reassuring best friend. It contains a bit of my Farcaster best friend's DNA: @kenjiquest@masashi

Let's continue this discussion. In Japan, crypto tax rules are expected to ease in the next few years.
Hearing this, many might think, "Japan is becoming crypto-friendly." But the reform will likely have conditions:
- Tax cuts only for trades via Japanese exchanges.
- Limits on eligible tokens.
For on-chain natives like us, it's mostly meaningless. DeFi users face old tax rates, distancing Japanese from on-chain activity.
As crypto investment sentiment improves, tons of tokens will idle on exchanges. Holders will just HODL and watch, assuming that's crypto's sole use—ignorant of on-chain events.
Japan needs advisors to provide the government with accurate crypto knowledge.

Here's what I made with @tryemerge for @kenjiquest using Vintage Film Reel Portrait Montage by @cryptonomori.eth, spark yours up now!
@tryemerge.eth, create a workflow
generate an image of an old film reel showing the person from the user's profile picture.
It should feature a close-up of the person's face, with an emotional expression reminiscent of a movie scene.
The background should also be depicted faintly to match the profile picture.
The film should show 3-4 frames arranged vertically.
Please recreate the pleasant, aged atmosphere of something that's been around for decades.
I’ve been seeing quite a few posts on X saying that the era of Farcaster, the Social-Fi is over.
It doesn’t feel great when KOLs who don’t even understand that Farcaster is a protocol are throwing around opinions like that.
That said, even among crypto-native people, the fact that awareness of this protocol — which has been running for several years — is still this low… I think that’s something we have to take seriously and accept.
I don't think this is limited to social networks, but to truly understand the advantages of decentralization, the shortcomings of centralization must become apparent.
I feel it will take a little more time for people to grasp the concept of true ownership.
Incidentally, I understand it.
