Question for the public: I've been thinking a lot about Point of Sale systems, and I was wondering if anyone has simply just setup a simple smart-contract for a vendor/merchant and simply utilized a QR code link to call a transfer function to a predetermined address in a mobile wallet?
Has this been done/tried yet?
CityDAO's are essentially an alternative to local government, but they should not be built around people. They should be built around networks. Permanent pieces of digital public infrastructure that are politically neutral and facilitate collective action. Compete with local gov. in the provision of public services.
I FINALLY finished The Network State by @balajis.eth! Thanks for such an amazing read. I am also more convinced than ever that a necessary antecedent to the realization of network states is the development of alternative frameworks for 'networked' forms of Public Administration; a leviathan ensuring democracy.
