One one hand, this doesn't fit my taste, and it looks like a bunch of crap stuck on a $30 t-display (it is). The maker in me cringes at the unenclosed PCB, and at the vulgarity of slapping rudimentary adornment onto commodity hardware, then marketing someone else's industrial engineering like it's an original fine art project. Too "cyberpunk cargo cult" for me personally.
On the other hand, I really like programmable media and hope that people keep doing experiments like this. AI tools and cheap hardware primitives are making this type of art accessible where only niche weirdos were playing before. I hope that more people do cool artuino stuff, and that we look back on these things as forerunners of new forms of expression, rather than yet more inflation from chips jammed into everyday goods.
@splits released a minimalist browser extention for Splits Teams that's crazy good. Finally, a feature-complete smart wallet that does all the things and feels like a modern web 2.0 neobanking experience.
If you haven't checked out Teams lately, I'm happy to report that it's feature complete. I do all my web3 "banking" with Teams, and recommend it highly.

I like the translate feature. But I don't like that like half of the translated casts are from bot accounts using the same "..so it's zero calories" food posts. Wth?
Feels like @wanderloots.eth is one of a few real humans actually making AI videos I can relate to as a regular person just trying to get the most out of my tools.
Nice solid review of the kinda stack so many of us are hacking on these days. It's detailed enough that I learned several things as an existing hermes user, and simple enough that I could send to my mom when she asks how all this stuff works lol
I really appreciated the Hindsight mention! It's super slept-on and many folks get glassy-eyed when agent memory comes up. But it's such a huge level-up for knowledge management and data ownership.
