One thing I’ll say about Coinbase: as a brand, they evoke one word for me… trust. You can disagree with their takes, priorities, even “Coinbase mafia” vibes. But I don’t think anyone serious thinks they operate in bad faith. It’s the opposite. They’ve played the game with unusually high integrity, often beyond what the law requires. Watching FTX take shortcuts and “win” fast must’ve been tempting. We saw how that ended. That’s why I trust @base.base.eth. In crypto, trust is a real currency, and it’s a moat. People stay where they feel safe and aligned. I’m building on Base because I think long-term it wins. The how is a longer convo, but trust comes first.
